Several staff members from the Stardust Lodge will be serving dinner at St. Theresa Church here in South Lake Tahoe. The event is part of the local Bread & Broth charity and will serve at least 100 people.The Bread and Broth event is called “Adopt a Day of Nourishment”.
Bread & Broth is a charitable, non-profit organization whose mission is to feed those less fortunate in South Lake Tahoe. They provide a hot, well-balanced meal free of charge to all who come through our doors. No limits exist regarding degree of need, race and/or religious beliefs.
The event goes from 3pm. -5pm on Monday, May 9th.
Bread & Broth is reaching out to businesses throughout the area to sponsor a Monday meal any time during the year. A $250 sponsorship covers the cost of food and beverages for the approximately 100 people who visit each Monday evening. The staff participating in this event are Lorena, Patrick, Victor, Kathryn, and Kathleen. We are very proud of them!
