Tahoe is known for a lot of neat holiday events and activities and Halloween in Tahoe is no exception. South Lake Tahoe has Halloween activities for “kids” of all ages?
Here’s a list of Halloween events in South Lake Tahoe that we like:
Harvest Festival – South Lake Tahoe (Myers), CA
The Lake Tahoe Environmental Magnet School is hosting a harvest festival from 4:30 – 8 pm on Friday.
Kahle Community Center – Stateline, NV
Celebrate the spirit of make believe, a sense of community and “Spooktacular” happenings all under one roof at Kahle Community Center on Halloween.
Festivities include carnival games, ooey gooey station and lots of treats for a “bootiful” fun, safe and “ghoulishly” good time for all ages.
The event is Oct. 31 from 4-6:30pm. Come dressed in a costume and bring an empty bag for treats.
Campground by the Lake – South Lake Tahoe, CA
Terror in Tahoe has taken over the campground along Highway 50 and turned the site into a terrifying tour, filled with gruesome slaughterhouse scenes, a haunted cemetery and more than enough scary surprises.
Terror in Tahoe will offer hay rides, campfires, hot cocoa and cider to guests.It is open Thursday-Sunday from 7pm-midnight through Halloween. Tickets are $15, children under 12 are $7.50. (Note: Terror in Tahoe is not recommended for children under 12.)
33rd Annual Freakers Ball – Montblue Casino Resort
Montbleu Resort Casino & Spa is proud to present the 33rd Annual Freaker’s Ball. Lake Tahoe’s biggest and longest running Halloween Party. Doors open up at 8:00pm and the party goes as long as you can.
The Freakers Ball is being held in Blu Nightclub, Opal Ultra Lounge and the Convention Center with the World’s Greatest Party Band “Pop Fiction”. Drink specials all night and morning long, costume contest with over $10,000.00 in cash and prizes and go-go dancers. Get access to all three venues at one price.
St. Theresa School Halloween Party – South Lake Tahoe, CA
St. Theresa School will host a Halloween night for families from 7 pm to 9 pm Friday. There will be a costume contest, a Jacko-o-lantern contest (bring your best carved pumpkin), bingo, and lots of games for kids.
Senior Center Dance – South Lake Tahoe, CA
The South Lake Tahoe Senior Center will have a Halloween dance starting at 7:30 pm on Friday.
Bona Fide Books – South Lake Tahoe, CA
Bona Fide Books is having its second annual Scary Slam costume contest at 7 pm on Saturday.
Sierra House Elementary School – South Lake Tahoe, CA
Sierra House Elementary School is hosting a Halloween carnival on Saturday from noon to 3 pm.
