Diamond Rio is an American country and Christian music band. The band was founded in 1982 as an attraction for the Opryland USA theme park in Nashville, Tennessee, and was originally known as the Grizzly River Boys, then the Tennessee River Boys. After undergoing several membership changes in its initial years, the band has consisted of the same six members since 1989: Gene Johnson (mandolin, guitar, fiddle, tenor vocals), Jimmy Olander (lead guitar, Dobro, banjo), Brian Prout (drums), Marty Roe (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dan Truman (keyboards, organ, synthesizer), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals). Among the group's previous members is Ty Herndon, who became a solo country artist in the mid-1990s.

Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973. As of 2010, the band currently consists of Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar) and Daxx Nielsen (drums). Their biggest hits include "Surrender", "I Want You to Want Me", "Dream Police" and "The Flame".

SnowGlobe Music FestivalDecember 29-31

Skiers, snowboarders and music lovers will find the ultimate escape for New Year's Eve in Lake Tahoe, CA. With world class resorts within striking distance, the opportunity to escape in the fresh powder is right at your fingertips.

The Snowglobe Music Festival is held at the Lake Tahoe Community College Campus in South Lake Tahoe, CA from December 29-31.

Festival hours: Tuesday, Dec 29, 3-11 pm. Wednesday, Dec 30, 2:30-11 pm and Thursday, Dec 31, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am.

The festival is an all ages event. Children ages 10 & under (accompanied by a parent or guardian) receive free admission to the festival.

The headliners announced are Jack Ü, Dillon Francis and Chet Faker. Lesser-known but still prevalent names include Cashmere Cat, Duke Dumont, Galantis and the radio’s new favorite, Post Malone. Bay Area hip-hop legend E-40 will also make an appearance.
