A really fun staff and cozy comfortable rooms. Love the dinners and breakfasts. Really easy to grab a quick bite and hit the slopes. You don’t need to drive anywhere as everything is within walking distance. Thanks, we had a nice stay.
Great location within walking distance to many of the great attractions South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The friendly staff, the comfortable units, were more than enough for me to want to stay here again and again. The doughnut breakfast is a really nice addition too.
The Stardust is a great place to stay in Tahoe. Not only is it right on Stateline, but the rooms are pristine! I stayed in a studio just recently, and the place was immaculate upon entry. I was very impressed by the tile work in the shower of this unit, as it was beautiful and very well done. Although the room had a murphy bed as the primary sleeping spot, it didn’t affect the functionality of the room at all while it was down. The room was set up very well and I also enjoyed that the television was located directly in front of the bed, making it easy to relax and watch the tube at the same time. Keep up the good work!
I stayed in a satrdust studio this last weekend, i have to say the bed was really comfortable, the unit was very clean, and it had a partial kitchen, free movie rentals, breakfast, bikes, wi-fi, BBQ grills, pool & hot tubs, laundry room, popcorn, parking, my favorite part was the 2 shower heads in the shower. i cant wait to stay here again.
I stayed in a studio at the Stardust last week for the first time, and I will never stay anywhere else in Tahoe again. The room was spotless upon entry, the murphy bed was just as comfortable or more comfortable as any regular bed. The showers even have double shower heads (one on each side of the shower)!!! I was able to check out several DVD’s from the front office at no-charge, soak in the hot-tub after a long day, and there was also a food event “Lasagna Dinner”, which was delicious, happening the night of my stay, eliminating the need for me to go out and search for a meal that night. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast consisting of hard-boiled eggs, doughnuts, bananas, oranges, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, was more than adequate. And talk about a great location!! The stardust is located just one block from the Casino’s, directly across the street from the Heavenly Gondola and shopping center. There’s even a Grocery store and more than one cafe right across the street. I will definitely stay at the Stardust again next time i come to Lake Tahoe.
We stayed at Stardust for one night in a studio room. It was a little small , but very nice and cleen inside. A little kitchenette , the room had a very comfortable day bed/sofa , and the murphy bed was very comfotable. They had lots of free movies for check out at the front desk. Jose at the front desk was very helpful. They had lots of great activities set up for every day. But we were only staying tuesday night. It was Chili night so we went and it was fantastic. Fernandos the best!!! Cant wait to come back in winter as its right acrost the street from HEAVENLY. Great stay!!!
I recently stayed at the Stardust Lodge and right when I walked in, I knew I would enjoy my stay. The room was very clean and I liked the way it was set up; very space efficient. I also liked that is was right across the street from the “Village”. You could spend some quality time there shopping, eating, drinking, or going to a movie! I got to sit in the spa which was awesome and you could rent a DVD from the Front Office for free! Did I mention that the TV in the room was fantastic? Well, it was. Just one more thing, I have to give a shout out to the very friendly and helpful staff there, “thank you for making me feel so welcome.” I would definitely return to the Stardust Lodge!
I recently stayed at the Stardust over the weekend and it was very enjoyable. Perfect location, right on the strip! You can walk to all the casinos, restaurants, and night clubs in mins! The Murphy bed was actually pretty cool because in the daytime when you want extra room, you can just put the bed up and that extra space is really great. Then at night when you pull the bed down, the living room becomes the bedroom and its very cozy. Although it is a smaller room, they did a great job with the furniture selection. The dinning room table was small but perfect for the space and VERY cozy.
Last Friday and Saturday night my husband and I stayed at the Stardust Lodge in Lake Tahoe. Upon check in, the front office staff was very friendly.The Studio that we stayed in was very clean and it even had a partial kitchen. The shower even had double shower heads . I had never slept in a Murphy Bed and was pleasantly surprised. They have many amenities including 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, Free DVD’s and Popcorn, Bikes, Golf Clubs, BBQ’s, Tennis Raquets all to just check out for the day. They also have a Fabulous Activities Center that offers breakfast every morning, with 2 different dinner events during the week. The Activities Staff offers guided hikes, bikes rides, and lots of other Fun outdoor activities. We are planning another stay at the Stardust this August and I can’t wait to join in on one of Kristin’s Water Aerobics classes. I highly recommend staying at the Stadust Lodge.
I stayed at the Stardust when I came up to Tahoe for a weekend getaway may 25th. This place is awesome! First off, location was perfect! was literally 5 mins waking distance to casinos, Heavenly Village, Heavenly Gondola and a few blocks from the beach. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Woke up early in the morning and had breakfast in the morning where they had a nice selection of treats! Staff were friendly and helpful from activities to the housekeepers! Will definitely stay here again!!!
What a find in Tahoe! Across the street from the Gondola and all the shopping in the Heavenly Village…it’s THE spot for summer and winter. Plus they have access to a beach just a few blocks away. So convenient. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. The Stardust has all kinds of extras too, activities like Karaoke and Wii games, bikes to sign out, donuts in the morning. You can’t beat it. The room had everything we needed, a microwave, a fridge, silverware, nice TV. We had such a great time and can’t wait for an excuse to return.
Just another reason why we have come back to the Stardust Lodge…. the management and staff are stellar! We checked in this past Saturday early in the morning to spend the day at the beach although we were not able to check in that early since the room was being cleaned. We went up to see how soon it might be available and saw that is was a nice room but tucked away in the corner, so we asked if they may have another room that we could change to. The Manager Lorena let us know she could not guarantee anything as they were full but she would see what she could do if something changed. Not expecting anything when we returned Lorena was there to check us in an informed us that she was able to move us to another room due to an early checkout and that we would be very happy with the new room. Boy were we ever! I walked in and I felt like I walked into a condo, it had everything a living room space, a kitchen, the bed which I jumped on top of because it looked to good not to! Also had a room separator which was nice and there was a jet tub in the bathroom which we took full advantage of as well as a sitting area with fireplace. We seriously considered staying another night just to be able to use all the amenities this room had to offer…don’t want say which room (our little secret!) but once again the Stardust did not disappoint and again the management went above and beyond to take care of their patrons, the location is awesome, the grounds and amenities the hotel has is better than what I think the higher priced hotels offer and they care about your experience – I think the Marriott across the street even gets jealous watching us taking advantage of the sundeck drinking a nice cold “beverage” on a beautiful Tahoe day as we watch all the people walk by. It was our last summer run of the year and we could not have had a better experience, you bet we will be back as I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks again Lorena! In the hospitality industry where even good service is hard to come by we certainly appreciate and recognize when GREAT service is received.
Stardust Lake Lodge for me is like a “home away from home”. The staff will never fail in making sure our stay is fun and relaxing. Our room is always kept spic and span and they make it a point that basic toiletries are available. I am very particular with the towels that I use and you can see and smell that they are “fresh and clean”. Everyone has a ready smile and is very willing and able to provide you with anything that you might need during your stay. Location is very strategic to different types of entertainment for a couple like us or even if you are looking to do something for the whole family. Best of all, it is centrally situated where you can access to good food, fine dining and other sort of eating within a mile or two. Love this place! Perfect get-away for the entire family!
