Airport Transportation

The South Tahoe Express Shuttle offers regularly scheduled service to and from the Reno Tahoe International Airport. The Reno Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is only 56 miles from South Lake Tahoe. Taxi cabs, car rentals and limousine service are all available at the airport.

From Reno-Tahoe International Airport to South Lake Tahoe

Take Hwy. 395 South right out of the Airport. You will have 30 miles of Highway driving to Carson City. You will go straight through Carson City. You will turn right on Hwy. 50 west and have 30 more miles of beautiful mountain driving.

I-10 east, I-15 north to Devore. Continue on 1-15 north and exit onto U.S. Hwy. 395 to Victorville, continue north to Bishop, then northwest on U.S. Hwy. 395 past Mono Lake to the Nevada state border– just past Topaz, California. Continue 27 miles to Gardnerville, Nevada and take Hwy. 56 south to Centerville, Hwy. 56 west to Hwy. 206 north, Kingsbury Grade (Hwy. 207) west to Stateline.

I-5 north towards Santa Ana, Costa Mesa Freeway (Hwy. 55) north, Riverside Freeway (Hwy. 91) east, I-15 north to Devore. Continue on 1-15 north and exit onto U.S. Hwy. 395 to Victorville, continue north to Bishop, then northwest on U.S. Hwy. 395 past Mono Lake to the Nevada state border–just past Topaz, California.
